As part of the 9th edition of Open House Madrid, MINIM presents the exhibition “The Architecture of José M. García de Paredes in Madrid”.

Curated by Manuel and Ángela García de Paredes, the exhibition covers some of the most emblematic works of the architect José M. García de Paredes (Seville 1924 - Madrid 1990), built, designed or disappeared in Madrid.

They are displayed on the ES-EX fully extensible shelving, designed by the architect himself in 1964.

Among others, works such as the competition for the Madrid Opera are exhibited; as well as his own studio home; the Town and the Church of Almendrales; the Juan de Villanueva room in the Prado Museum; or the National Music Auditorium. They are all remembered on the occasion of his centenary, as committed and silent architectures whose values ​​endure over time.
