On November 4, the exhibition "Touched by Art" by Candela Cort was inaugurated at MINIM Madrid with great participation success. The event brought together more than 170 people, including family, friends, clients and lovers of Candela's work who did not want to miss this unique opportunity to see the most representative pieces of her work, gathered in a unique exhibition.

The event was attended by the exhibition designers, Fernando Pino and Manuel de Paredes, from the Paredes-Pino architecture studio; the journalist Anatxu Zabalbeascoa, who presented the exhibition with an emotional speech; and the great protagonist of the night, Candela Cort, who dedicated some nice words to all the attendees.

The guests were able to learn about Candela's extensive work, through a careful selection of headdresses, collars, necklaces and collages that represent the entire career of the artist: from pieces from her beginnings in 1994, to more recently designed models. Whether there are pieces created with fabric, photographs, cardboard or stockings, in all of them there is a light air that resembles a lightless flight that always permeates the Candela Cort collections. Ethereal and colorful creations, which become sculptures of studied simplicity that almost entirely lack right angles.

Attendees also had the opportunity to buy the book "Candela Cort", signed by the artist herself. Edited by La Fábrica in 2020, the book has a foreword by Anatxu Zabalbeascoa and photographs by Manuela Lorente.
