On 21 January, MINIM Barcelona and GUBI presented a new Cápsula by MINIM, a brief and curated exhibition format that combines product, knowledge and experimentation at the Via Augusta 185 design showroom.

The centrepiece of this edition was the relaunch of the F300 armchair, designed by Pierre Paulin. The piece returns to the present with a contemporary perspective, presented alongside a CREÁVALO upholstery created with MAT, which set the ideal atmosphere for showcasing Paulin's design. The F300 was originally conceived by French designer Pierre Paulin in the late 1970s, challenging the conventions of the armchair and even the ways we sit. GUBI has now brought it back into production, and its relaunch in new fabrics and finishes restores its full relevance as a landmark of contemporary design.

The gathering was structured as a workshop, a working session exploring how design icons are reactivated through material: DEDAR shared its expert perspective on textile, colour and texture as tools for reinterpretation, and the session concluded with a creative team challenge to imagine new readings of the F300 — a speculative exercise imagining how other iconic designers in the GUBI catalogue might have approached the piece. The workshop was accompanied by breakfast, creating space for networking and professional exchange among the attending interior designers and industry professionals.
