Book Presentation: Cara vista — Ana García López
Book Presentation: Cara vista — Ana García López
On 17 July 2025, M300 hosted the presentation of Cara vista, the debut novel by architect and NeuronaLab founder Ana García López. In a relaxed and intimate afternoon, the author shared with the audience the creative process behind a book born from personal experience: the intricacies of purchasing an old apartment in Barcelona and the long road to obtaining planning permission, transformed into a metaphor for personal reconstruction.
Cara vista is an autofiction novel in which the protagonist, going through a separation, simultaneously undertakes the renovation of a house and her own life. Written with touches of neuroarchitecture (the discipline that studies how built spaces influence the people who inhabit them), the novel connects architecture, emotion and memory in an intimate and revealing way.
An evening that confirmed M300 as a meeting place between architecture, design and contemporary thought.
