Octavi Mestre reveals the architecture of Tokyo, Rome and New York through his travel guides

We kick off the year of celebrating our 20th anniversary with an event held together with the architect Octavi Mestre, at MINIM Barcelona.

On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, Octavi Mestre starred in MINIM Talk at our Barcelona showroom, during which he invited us to travel to New York, Rome and Tokyo through his architecture.

The event brought together more than 100 people, including architects, interior designers, developers, clients and friends, who were able to enjoy a wonderful tour of these three capitals, through the "Architecture Guides for non-architects". Three travel notebooks that Octavi has created with his own texts and images, after traveling several times to these cities with such different architectural styles.

Together with him we visited the New York of Frank Lloyd Wright, Met Breuer, William Van Allen or Mies van der Rohe, where a large number of emblematic buildings stand; then we enter eternal Rome where the Pantheon and the Colosseum meet, with Zaha Hadid's MAXXI or Renzo Piano's auditorium; and, finally, we walk through the city of Tokyo and its surroundings, where traditional temples coexist with constructions by Kenzo Tange, Tadao Ando, Toyo Ito and Le Corbusier.

We share the images of the event. Thank you all very much for coming!
