SIT – THINK… PLAY, a showcase of solidarity that invites you to sit, think and play

Our Christmas showcase this year has some great protagonists: children. Because this year our showcase gathers five wooden toys that are part of the collection "SIT - THINK ... PLAY". A solidarity collection produced by capdell in favor of the Theodora Foundation, an NGO that has been carrying out an important social task for 20 years: stoking the smile of hospitalized children.

Who is behind this idea?
The collection has been commissioned by capdell - a Valencian company specializing in the manufacture of chairs and creator of these solidarity toys - together with the designers Salvador Villalba and Carlos Tíscar, creators of the idea. It is a project that takes as a starting point a  funny question: Can you play with a chair?

Toys with a solidary purpose 
The exhibition consists of 50 unique pieces that are variations of the same stool that, as a mechanism, is modified and combined with different accessories  to create different toys: a train, a truck, a boat ... The 50 pieces of the collection will be donated to different hospitals so that the children can sit down to play in them, or they will be sold. In this case, the full amount of the pieces will be donated to the Theodora Foundation.

During this year the collection has traveled through different cities of the Spanish territory as an exhibition, to publicize the great work of the Theodora Foundation. In Barcelona, their stop has been MINIM, where you can visit from December 4^th to January 7^th. We wait for you!
