"Touched by art" by Candela Cort at MINIM Madrid
MINIM Madrid pays tribute to the artist and hat designer Candela Cort with a retrospective exhibition that has been organized by MINIM and designed by the Paredes-Pino architectural studio.
"Touched by Art" brings together a magnificent selection of Candela Cort's creations, from her acclaimed headdresses to an exquisite collection of collars, necklaces and collages, all of them masterpieces made by this great designer. Unique and exclusive pieces, since in her creations neither patterns nor compositions are repeated.
In this exhibition you can also find copies of the hat designer's first book, which invites us to take a tour of her entire work through more than 100 photographs taken by Manuela Lorente. Edited by La Fábrica, the book has a foreword by the journalist and writer Anatxu Zabalbeascoa.
The exhibition can be visited until December 4 at the MINIM Madrid showroom. Meanwhile, the bulthaup claudio coello showroom will host an exhibition with portraits of the artist, taken by photographer Manuela Lorente. The portraits will be accompanied by a very special selection of Candela Cort's headdresses. It can be visited from November 5 to November 30, at Claudio Coello 17 in Madrid.
